Unlocking Profitability and Sustainability
We’re revolutionizing the agricultural sector by unlocking the Voluntary Carbon Market (VCM) for farmers. Agriculture has a unique double opportunity to fight climate change: emissions reduction + carbon removal. Until now, it’s been nearly impossible for farmers to enter the VCM as the carbon credit registration, validation and verification process is new, costly, complex and long.
How the VCM works:
So, at Rivulis Climate, we take care of the whole process of certifying a carbon offset project, supporting farmers every step of the way. At the core, we’re helping farmers adopt sustainable farming practices to reduce carbon emissions and increase carbon sequestration while helping open a new income stream via the sale of carbon credits.
We launched Rivulis Climate to give access to the Voluntary Carbon Markets to Rivulis farmers
Rivulis partners with farmers to transition to more sustainable farming
Rivulis registers the project with a carbon registry and leads the project’s validation and verification with an auditor
The registry issues carbon certificates to Rivulis. Rivulis sells them and share the proceeds with the farmers
Sustainable Farming practices
Adopted by participating farmers to reduce carbon emissions, increase soil organic carbon and woody biomass include:

Micro Irrigation

Optimized fertilization

Reduced tillage

Cover/Intercrops

Residue Management

Agroforestry
