How Impact Financing works?
Smallholders Model
Rivulis collaborates with off-takers(key buyers), which are agri-food companies that purchase crops directly from farmers. These buyers play a crucial role in promoting sustainable farming practices. Collaboration with key buyers ensures risk-sharing, enabling financiers to offer long-term financing. Buyers benefit from higher quality and consistent crops, while farmers access affordable financing through select financial partners.
Small to Medium Projects Model
This model targets small to medium-sized projects to access 2-5 years long payment plans. Financing can be direct or structured as off-balance sheet solutions via fintechs and local/global financial institutions. It helps growers reduce investment costs per hectare and accelerate the investments.
Large Projects Model
This model is designed for projects exceeding $5 million, typically provided as direct loans or leasing options up to 7 years. Rivulis collaborates with debt funds, multilateral banks, development banks, and impact funds to facilitate financing for these large-scale projects. Impact Measurement is a key factor to qualify for impact financing and Rivulis is there to help.
Dealers Model
This model focuses on financing dealers in their purchase of micro irrigation solutions. By offering up to a year of financing with extended payment terms, Rivulis helps dealers manage their cash flow and inventory better, bridging timing gaps for the dealer.
